My name Greg Andrade, I’ve been a graphics instructor for the last 18 years in southern California. I teach at Desert Hot Springs High School. This year I am teaching Digital Photography, Digital Imaging & Design and a class I wrote called Contemporary Media. Before teaching, I ran my graphic design business Andrade Design. My wife Terri, of thirty years runs the business now. Our business has been in existence for more than twenty-five years. I have two kids, Jaime 29, is a color specialist/make-up artist at Sephora and my son Alex 24, is in the U.S. Navy in Norfolk ,Virginia.
In 2012, I enrolled in the MET program and now I’m starting my second year. My goal is to hone my craft as a technology educator with the new skills I’m developing through the MET program here at Boise State. Many years of my life have been entrenched in graphic design and graphic communications but with what I have learned at BSU I feel I’m becoming a more well-rounded educator in today’s ever-changing technological world.
