Evolution of Educational Technology

2.o Development

Candidates demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to develop instructional materials and experiences using print, audiovisual, computer-based, and integrated technologies.

2.4 Integrated Technologies
Integrated technologies are ways to produce and deliver materials which encompass several forms of media under the control of a computer.

This assignment meets the 2.4 Integrated Technologies standard. Our objective was to create a poster illustrating AECT’s definitions of Educational Technology as it evolved over the years from 1963 to 2008. We had the choice of creating a poster using an interactive blog or creating an Infographic using software of choice; I chose Adobe Photoshop. The criteria specified the dates and their definitions as well as any pertinent imagery or other media that would enhance our posters. We met the standard by using at least two forms of media: a web-based blog and a digital imaging software, both created on either PC or Macintosh based architecture.
